Pocket Page Week 2 | Lindsey Lanning

Pocket Page Week 2 | Lindsey Lanning

Hello everyone, it’s Lindsey! Today I’m getting caught up on my pocket page album, using the Bailey Collection. You can find my process video for this layout at the end of this post!

We are continuing with our routine Sunday Selfie this week and I had to go with this one since it captures the craziness that I deal with every Sunday morning LOL. Since this photo was only a 3x4, I had plenty of room to use one of the tags from the collection this month and I created a bow with some of the new cotton ribbon (PS: This ribbon makes amazing, crisp bows!).

When I was unboxing the Bailey Collection, I had an idea to create a cascade of stamped hearts with the layered heart stamps and decided to give it a try on this title card. I used the pink grid paper as the base and then stamped a variety of hearts in some inks that match the collection this month.

I always have some Essentials White Cardstock next to my typewriter so I can easily add some journaling to my projects and I love that the white is the same hue as the white in the other papers from Felicity Jane. I layered my journaling on one of the Bailey Journaling Cards and kept the embellishment simple with some stamping, gold thread, and one of the felt hearts.

I snapped this funny photo of my dog but didn’t think it really needed any journaling so I just grabbed this ‘love’ journaling card to act as a filler and added a few die cuts for embellishment.

I love how this photo of the Bay Bridge came out and didn’t want to cover it up with too much so I just used some of the Bailey alphas to add a title to it and called it good.

That details stamp is one that I’ll be getting a lot of use out of and love that it has a couple different textures that can be stamped into it to customize it. I decided to gold heat emboss the grid texture to tie in the gold that I have in other places on my layout.

That’s it! I love how the Bailey Collection can be used to create Valentine’s themed projects but can just as easily work for a non-holiday layout like I did here. The Bailey Kit is sold out but there are still some individual products in the shop so be sure to head on over and grab some! Don’t forget to checkout my process video linked below!

 Until next time!
