Stamping Unique Pocket Pages | Julie Kinneeveauk
This year, I'm using the 6x8 album size, which means that I end up starting a new album about every quarter. July 1st meant it was time to begin a new chapter in my family's memory keeping, and the August kit from Felicity Jane proved to be the perfect starting point.
I absolutely love this "dipped" wooden alphabet, and loved how the letters popped off the darker background on the photo. This photo also shows three fun little heart embellishments that come as exclusive Felicity Jane products in this month's kit.
Each month, I love to test out the various stamps in the set, and challenge myself to see how many ways I can put them to use.
The words included in August's set seemed to be just the right fit for titling my journaling cards, and I added them on various label stickers/pieces from the Maggie kit as well as some older kits.
In addition to the stamped titles, I decided to create my own journaling card, using the dotted lines (swoon) with another charm from the exclusive Felicity Jane embellishments.
The simple shapes of the circles and hexagons made my head spin with ideas! I love how versatile they are, and knew I wanted to personalize another journaling card with the hexagons, clumped together in a corner. I used a lighter ink for the solid image and a shade darker for the outline.
Here's a glimpse of how all the pieces came together...
These photos are from a camping trip that we took over the Fourth of July weekend. Who'd have known that Felicity Jane would release *the* perfect patterned paper to match my rain jacket? *sigh*
To echo one of the stamps this month, I "can't even handle the cuteness". :D
