Popcorn Boxes | Anne Keller

Hey FJ fans,

I have a fresh new idea with Bailey for you. Something we love as a family is watching a film together and - of course - eating popcorn. And little popcorn boxes are easy to make and a beautiful add on for your film parties.

I created 3 boxes. You can use a cut file or metal die set or follow a tutorial over on YouTube to fold a box. I had a cut file in my library and because it has the beautiful scalloped border I chose this. The first box is a very small one. I used some pattern paper, folded and glued the box together. After this I used some crepe paper and added a simple die cut. Because I work as a trauma surgeon, I found a new way to receive crepe ribbon: when plastering after a surgery, there is left over crepe paper (we wrap it under the plaster) and normally they throw it away. I saved some for my craftings...

The next box is also made out of patterned paper. I punched a little hole at the top and knotted a tag with one of the cute die cut hearts and a little heart bead. With a tag the popcorn box would also be a great gift box.

I also made a box with white paper. You can use your stamps to decorate the paper. If you have a closer look you discover my white embossed LOVE stamp phrase. On brighter photos it's hard to see. With a tutorial on the internet I made a bow with one of the beautiful add on ribbons. Just added some lovely epoxy hearts and the box is done.
