Pretty Floral Decoration | Sandra Dietrich

Welcome to the Felicity Jane blog. It’s me Sandra and I’m sharing a pretty floral decoration idea. I had some rosettes left over from my last FJ project. I thought that the rosettes would look really nice on a paper plant holder. Then I decided to make some pinwheels too. Just to have some options for decoration. Before I go into more detail about the ‘how to’, let’s have a look at the finished project first:

How to: First, I grabbed some artificial flowers and an egg. Then I made a plant holder from paper. I think it’s really effortless to make one :). Just cut a 12"x12" paper into half (6"x12"). Next, fold this paper at 6" and glue the edges on the left side and the right side with double-sided tape. Leave the top open to insert flowers and other pieces of decoration (like Easter eggs or wooden ornaments).

Then decorate the plant holder with rosettes, pinwheels, and small stamped messages. This is such an effortless way to create a decorative table centerpiece. However, this would also make a great Easter gift.

TIP 1: Create hangers for the rosettes and the pinwheels with baker's twine.

TIP 2: Add stamped messages with stamp sets from Felicity Jane. These can be motivational quotes or simple greetings. Attach the messages with small paper clips. The Essentials Mini Wide Paper Clips from FJ have the perfect size :).
