Pretty Sweet Cards Using the Jaimee Kit | Lorilei Murphy

Hello Felicity Jane friends!  So happy to be sharing my first project using the colorful Jaimee kit from Felicity Jane today!  For some reason I was inspired to make some cards today, maybe to share the gorgeous cheery vibe of this collection with others!

I don't make cards very often, but I have found that I like to make three cards at a time, it just seems like the perfect amount to get creativity flowing!  I made standard card size bases from white cardstock in preparation.  My first card features Jaimee, love her cute curly hair.  I know this saying is overdone and probably not at all trendy, but it makes me smile!  I used the gorgeous green dots & lines print for the background and a journal card on top of a doily for a feature spot.  I added the Jaimee at the side to make a nice space for the sentiment that uses the puffy alpha stickers.  I added a few sequins from the Jaimee Sequin mix for a little fun and sparkle!  I love this card turned out!

My next card is pretty simple, but I can think of a lot of people who would love to receive it!  Who doesn't love some gorgeous flowers?  I used the grid & stars paper for the backdrop a doily and some foam adhesive dots to create dimension for the flowers.  I added little floral puffy stickers to the center of the flowers for a bit of extra detail!

My last card is a super fun shaker pocket.  I started with the frame die cut and adhered a piece of acrylic behind it.  I used 1/4" foam tape all around the back side of the frame to create a space for the sequins to shake around.  I flipped the frame over and poured in a good amount of sequins to the center and then added a square of the lines and spots paper to seal everything in.  One tip I have is to make sure you have applied glue in a line around the perimeter of your pocket, or those sequins will escape!  To finish the card, I used the floral & paint paper for a backdrop, a doily and then the shaker pocket.  I added the super sweet hello puffy sticker to the top of the frame and one puffy floral sticker to finish it off!

Thanks for joining me today!  If you love to make stuff and don't have time to commit to a whole layout or mini book, cards are such a fun way to get a few minutes of creativity in and you can share the love!
