Let's be honest, how often do you use the stamp set that comes in each month's kit? Not a stamper, you say? Well, today, Suzanna and Peggy are going to show you a couple of ways to incorporate those gorgeous stamps into your projects.
Peggy
Each month, I do not only get excited about all the pretty papers and embellishments in the kits, but also about the stamp set! However, there was a time, when I was afraid to ruin a page with that last bit of stamping or I simply forgot the stamp set was even there. So I made it a habit to use each stamp before I start creating with a kit.
Each month, I will take a piece of white cardstock and simply stamp each stamp at least once. I then use these images to create labels or embellishments that I can easily add to my projects later - without the fear of 'ruining' a page by messing up the stamping :)
When I create the labels, I try to use different colors of inks that coordinate with the kit. This month, however, I new would be using the labels in my December Album, therefore I stuck with black to ensure coherence throughout the album. With all the different papers and photos, I thought it would be a great idea to have my stamped labels as a consistent element.
In this spread I used a ton of labels as part of the background and as embellishments for my photos.
The entire page came together rather quickly, without any smudges or worries of mistakes, because I didn't stamp on the page directly.
By the way, can you guys believe its Christmas Eve already? I am so excited to spend the next few days with my family and I wish you all a Merry Christmas! :)

I get so excited about the new stamp set each month! The stamps always complement the kit contents perfectly, and can also be used long after I've used up all my papers and embellishments.
This month, I went super minimal with my gift wrapping and decided to use kraft paper with twine for the base of my wrapping. I used the stamp set to create my own patterned wrapping paper and could not love the outcome more!
I chose a couple stamps to use for each gift and before wrapping, I stamped randomly around the paper. Then I finished off the gift with twine and a gift tag. One of the tags I used came in the Hello, Christmas! kit. The other I created by cutting out a tag from card stock, adding a piece of the striped washi tape from the kit, and stamping across the side of the tag.
Wrapping this way gives you complete creative control so you can switch it up as you feel, or use different ink colors depending on the occasion. You can also use this same technique with different stamp sets for other gifting occasions as well!
Whether you're a stamp lover or just getting into stamping, we hope these ideas will help you love those kit stamp sets even more! Tell us - what are your favorite ways to use the stamp sets that come in the monthly kits?
