Hello everyone, it’s Lindsey! For 2020, I am once again going to attempt a pocket page weekly album. I only made it a few weeks last year but I’m determined to stick with it this year. Today I’m sharing how I put together my intro page for the album using mostly items from the Madison Collection. You can find the process video, as well as links to the products used, at the end of this post.
I often times refer to our little family unit as “The Lanning Clan” so I used a combination of large chipboard alphas with the Madison alphas to create a title card. The base of the card was simply created with a 4x6 piece of Essentials White Cardstock and a torn piece of the beautiful floral paper from the Madison Collection.
This layout needed several filler cards since I was only using one large photo. This card was created using the gingham patterned paper cut to 4x6 and then I layered a Harper die cut with the floral cluster from Madison. These larger ephemera pieces work well for large filler cards like this one.
One of my favorite things about the Felicity Jane journaling cards is the ability to customize them. On the black and white card, I stamped “LOVE” from the Lindsey Stamp Set using some green ink and then clear heat embossed it for some added texture. I used a chipboard piece to cover the “love” on the color block card so there wouldn’t be any redundancy but the chipboard also adds some interest to an otherwise flat card.
This photo was taken at the end of 2019 but I absolutely love it so I sized it to 6x8 and then cut it apart to fit in the pockets that I had available. I pulled some large number stamps from my stash to stamp 2020 in the space at the bottom and then layered some banners and a stamped sentiment from the Shay Stamp Set.
Last year I didn’t add any journaling to my intro page but, this time around, I thought it might be fun to add some goals and general journaling about the upcoming year. I layered the journaling onto a piece of patterned paper cut to 4x6 and embellished with some Madison Die Cut Shapes.
I really like how this layout came together and how easy it was to put together when using a collection like this. Who else is attempting a weekly documenting project like this? Be sure to use #felicityjane on social media so we can see how you are putting your beautiful Felicity Jane products to use!
You can head on over and shop the Madison Collection now!
Until next time!
<3 Lindsey

I love this intro page. Your goals are great. Especially the one to spend more time together. Time is the most precious gift.
Lindsay, I know that you use 12×12. But, does FJ sell that album?
I’d like around a size 6×8?
