Hello everyone, it's Eva here on the blog, sharing a quilt inspired layout made with the lovely Aspen collection. 
I love geometric layouts and often get inspired by quilts. For this layout I chose a quilt design that I did with strips of paper from the Aspen paper pack. The wide strips of paper measure 3 cm and the thinner ones are 2.4 cm wide.
I tried to mix designs and colored background papers with white background patterns, that way your eyes can rest while looking at the layout. 
All my lines came together at the center of the layout so I placed my photo there and embellished the bottom with flowers that I cut out of patterned paper and some die cuts. How cute is that 'Home" die cut? I loved it so much I used it as my title.
I also added a few embellishments on the diagonal lines, I used a tone on tone technique and used those lovely chipboard shapes. 
Where do you get your inspiration? This collection is amazing and I am sure its colors and designs are going to inspire to create lovely projects!
