Hello everyone,
It's Eva on the blog today, sharing my first blog post using the gorgeous Emily Kit.
My inspiration for this project was the "Modern" patterned paper from the kit. I love the curves and it gave the impression of a rainbow. To create my own, I cut several patterned papers and sewed them to my background. I also bent the loose edge a little bit to add some dimension.
To create my title I used the Emily Puffy Alpha Stickers and added the phrase on the curve of the rainbow. I love those small alphas, they are the perfect size for long titles and mini albums.
I added my picture on top of a library card and embellished with some Die Cut Shapes and a MIDI Clip Gold. I also cut some flowers from the patterned papers and added them with 3d dots.
To write my journaling, I created a secret spot behind my photo using a pink Tab Sticker and a Journaling Card.
Finally, I added a strip of patterned paper on top. I used one of the extra strips with the name of the collection! Nothing goes to waste!
I love how this layout came together! the colors and patterns of the Emily Kit are perfect for everyday photos, I am sure you are going to love it!
Have a great week,
Eva
