Remember Today | Mandy Melville

Hello! Mandy with you today to share a layout that I created with the gorgeous October Emeline kit!

I love this sweet photo of my hubby with our youngest daughter at her birthday party recently! I pulled out the blues and yellows from the kit as they matched perfectly with this photo.

Here are some closeups so that you can see all of the details...

I always love the florals in the Felicity Jane kits, and this one was no exception! I fussy cut these flowers from the floral patterned paper and then used a Felicity Jane cut file that you can purchase from the Silhouette store, to cut some leaves to tuck in around the flowers. I like the subtle detail that this adds.

How gorgeous is the 'Remember Today' phrase on the sticker cut apart sheet?! I knew I had to use this on my layout, and it was the perfect title for my page!

Here you can see the dimension that I created on my layout. I added foam tape underneath the navy blue patterned paper, and then added more underneath my photo to lift it up even more. Can you tell how much I love dimension on my layouts?! I tucked a tab under the right hand side of the photo and then created a little cluster that includes a flair button from the 'documented' set, one of the super cute wood veneer hearts, and a couple of enamel dots.

I finished the layout off by adding a couple of little fish-tail banners up in the left hand corner of the layout along with another wood veneer heart and more enamel dots.
