Today I have a project to share with you featuring the pretty Avery Mini Digital Kit! One of the things I love the most about digital kits is that you can print out as many copies of the elements as you like…so handy! For this particular spread, I’ve documented one of my June highlights in my Dot TN Album.
To begin I printed the Avery Ephemera onto white cardstock then fussy cut each element out ready to use. I also used Photoshop to add my text directly onto the ledger Avery Journaling Card. I played with the line spacing settings so that the text fitted each line before printing it out. I also printed my photo to fit in behind the gingham photo frame ephemera piece.
Once I had all my elements ready, I cut two pieces of white cardstock to 4.75” x 8.25” for my background pages and stitched around the edge of each with my sewing machine for some lovely subtle texture.
On the first page my journaling was adhered roughly in the centre and I stitched across the top before adding the large pretty floral piece. I used the Amanda Stamp Set for the title “road trip” which I stamped onto white cardstock, cut out and stitched onto a label. The label was then adhered to the floral piece with foam tape to add some dimension.
Under the journaling, I’ve added another label with some stitching and two little hearts layered together.
On the second page my framed photo was positioned in the middle in line with the journaling on the first page. I added a tab to the top edge of the photo frame with the “love this” stamp from the Abigail Stamp Set.
I then created a little cluster of ephemera at the bottom right of the frame. For this I layered one of the flower vases behind the single flower and dangled the tag underneath to hold the date. There is also a little heart above the flowers. To finish I added a bit of messy stitching to the bottom left of the photo frame.
I just love the pretty fall colours in this digital kit and this spread came together so easily! I hope I’ve inspired you to try a little hybrid scrapbooking too.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today!
