Hi FJ friends!
Ulli here with you today and I have a layout for you which I’ve made with many different Felicity Jane kits. I love mixing FJ kits working with new items and with some older ones. Here you can see the complete layout about our road trip to Sweden last summer.
First I cut a frame from the Margot "Scallops & Tulips" paper with 2 inches width. Then I cut the Margot "Notebook Paper & Spots" paper to 10 5/8 x 10 5/8 inches and glued it on the 12x12 inch frame. I used my fingers to distress the borders a little bit. Then I fussy cut a wonderful rose of the Margot "Floral & Hearts" paper and glued it on the left side on the bottom of the notebook paper. Then I used the super cute tulip Library Pocket from the Margot collection and put in an Aspen Journaling card in green with a pinkish label. I layered my small black and white picture on the "Love This" Aspen journaling card and glued it on the top of the library pocket. Then I added everything with 3D dots over the big rose. I added the pinkish Aspen Cardstock Fringe under it too.
I used the Aspen stamp set and a black ink pad to add the month and year number of the road trip on the notebook paper and on the rose. I punched a hole into the green journaling card of the hidden journaling and added a white eyelet there. Then I fixed a ribbon in dark grey on it. I wrote my journaling on the back of this journaling card and put it back into the library pocket. I really enjoy using hidden journaling from time to time. Not everybody sees the journaling, but if you take a closer look you can find it.
I added my title on the right side of the top of my 12x12 inch layout. There I´ve mixed the Margot Chipboard Alphabet Stickers with the black puffy alphabet of the Aspen collection. I glued everything on two labels in pink and green from a Margot journaling card with five different colored labels. I also used the oval green label which I’ve fussy cut from a Margot journaling card and added the last word of my title with the Ginny Puffy Alphabet in white there. I used my mini stapler and fixed the notebook paper on the right edge on the top and on the left edge on the bottom.
After this I began to decorate my page. I added puffy stickers from the June and Capri collections here and there. The word "Summer" is from the June collection and I added it under my picture. I also added a mini wide paper clip in dusty rose on the top of my picture.
I added a small tag in black and white from the Bailey Chipboard Stickers under the tulip library pocket and the speech bubble die cut with the heart in green of the Aspen collection over the word "summer". I added the sunglasses puffy sticker of the June collection on the picture and also added two tiny chipboard tags of the Aspen Chipboard Bits & Pieces under the "Love This" journaling card above the photo.
I splattered black ink across the page and finished off with the Julia Epoxy Dots and the black puffy dots of the June Puffy Stickers. I also used the flower dot puffy stickers of the Capri collection to get a playful look.
