Mandy here with you today to share a layout that I created using the beautiful Noel kit! I'm really enjoying documenting our Christmas memories using this kit! The patterned papers are gorgeous, and there are so many lovely embellishments to choose from! I decided to scrapbook a couple of photos of our kids with their cousins when they went to have a photo with Santa last week. We don't always get Santa photos done, but it was a great opportunity when we were together with the extended family, to get a photo of them all together. I just snapped these photos on my phone as they were chatting with Santa and getting ready for their photo.
I started my layout off with the 'winter' patterned paper as my background, and I also adhered a couple of branding strips along the bottom of the page. Next I added a piece of the 6x6 dot patterned paper in the middle of the layout and I then layered my photos together on top of that. Both photos were matted with one of the solid color papers from the kit, and I adhered the bottom photo with foam tape to give it some extra dimension.
To the left of the photos I added a poinsettia, which I fussy cut out of one of the patterned papers. I added one of the gold puffy snow flake stickers to the middle of the flower to add some more interest and texture, and once again I used foam tape to adhere it.
I added a couple of embellishments on the right hand side of the photos as well, including a chipboard flair and a die cut bow. I also tucked another gold snowflake under the bottom edge of the photos. It can sometimes be difficult for us Aussies to use all of the winter themed embellishments as we celebrate Christmas in the middle of Summer, but in this case I felt like the snowflakes worked well with the Santa scene in the photos.
To finish the layout off I added a large title above the photos. I used the chipboard numbers from the kit to create the '2019', and then I added a little 'Santa' puffy sticker on top of the numbers. I also added the 'hohoho' gold puffy sticker underneath the large title, which I think ties in perfectly with the Santa photos.
