Hey FJ friends,
Anne here with a brand new Madison layout. The colors are so fresh. I really love the combination. I found the January title stripe in the paper pack and I was inspired to use the backside.
I used the paper stripe as my main focus and build everything around it. With a lot of beautiful crinkly layers I added my photo at the right side. I wanted to document a lot of thoughts, so I combined some public journaling - printed vellum on the paper stripe - and some private journaling in the envelope. With these elements everything at my page is on one line. To balance the page I added some things left and right from the 'line'. I put some banners at the top of the photo. I love the subtle beauty of the embossed tags. So special.
On the other side I added a piece of washi and a flower die cut. If you ever have the feeling, your page is not finished - check the lines you follow with your eyes. Maybe a little change or something added can make a great difference.
An effect I love again and again - ripping one edge of your background paper and layering another piece of paper behind it. Easy, but beautiful.
For the public journaling I wanted to have a random look. Like someone put together memories and let it fall on this page. So I just stapled the journaling on the paper stripe. Added a little title and one heart. Finished.
Have some fun with Madison and show your projects #felicityjane.
