Hi FJ friends!
Ulli here with you and I am happy to show you a new layout with the wonderful Emily collection and with some embellishments from previous FJ kits. I used the wonderful Felicity Jane Leaf Background cut file and had so much fun. The colors of the Emily collection were perfect for some pictures of a movie night with my little girl. Here you can see the whole page.
I took the Leaf Background cut file from Felicity Jane and used the Emily "Honeycomb & Leaves" paper to cut the leaves out with my electronic die cutting machine. I used the solid cardstock in rusty red to and backed the cut file with this paper. I glued the leaves on my white Essentials Cardstock. But I was waiting with the three single leaves to add them later while decorating. Then I added my two pictures on the upper third of my 12x12 cardstock and glued one on a Hope Mini File Folder. I used the FJ Roller Date Stamp to add the date on the folder. I added an Emily Cardstock Tab sticker in pink on the file folder too and wrote my journaling into the folder to have hidden journaling. I also added there a picture from my girl with her best friend. Then I used the Essentials Mini Wide Paper Clip in Dusty Rose to close it. I used the Emily Word sticker to decorate the folder inside and the two pictures.
I cut three small paper strips from the Emily "Grid & Apple", the Emily "Gingham & Dot Grid" paper and from the rusty red Solid Cardstock. I glued them on the bottom of my page and used my fingers to distress the borders a little bit. Then I added a small banner under my right picture. I’ve used the Annie Tiny Chipboard Tags for it and the little gingham tag from the Emily Die Cut Shapes. I used foam dots to add more dimension. Then I glued the strings on the right and the left side on my page.
I decorated the pictures with the Emily Word Stickers, the Annie labels in pink and blue and with the Kate Word Stickers "Movie Night" and "What I Wore". I added the Annie die cut with the black heart on the pink tab on the right picture and used the white photo corner from the Annie Die Cuts to decorate the left picture. Then I glued two pink Felt Leaves from the Harper collection under my pictures and added the white Hannah Tulle Bow on the right picture. I also added the blue ampersand of the Annie Die Cut Shapes on the leaves and the Brie Puffy Title "Love". I also used foam dots.
I added the title "Frozen 2" with the Lola Chipboard Alphabet with the polka dots on the bottom of my layout on the paper strips. I added a single leaf beside the title and the word sticker "November" from the Jenny Word Stickers under the upper paper strip. I glued the blue tab from the Annie collection on the paper strips too and used the Confetti Alphabet to add the age of my girl when the pictures were taken.
I ripped the white cardstock on the left side on the top and used my mini stapler to fix the paper borders there. Then I backed it with the Solid Cardstock of the Emily collection. I splattered black ink across my page and added many Megan Puffy Stickers, Millie Puffy Hearts and Tori Epoxy dots on my page. I always love the playful look of them. I added a puffy sticker also at the "O" of my title and some of them on the tiny chipboard tags.
I hope I have inspired you to use this wonderful leaf cut file from Felicity Jane to create a fall project too. Have fun! Have a wonderful week!
xx Ulli
