Did you know that the Tombow brush pens are the perfect addition to your on-the-go scrapbooking kit? They are really versatile and allow you to create watercolor effects and splatters on your page without the usual mess.
I chose some of my favorite products from the Felicity Kit, a traveler's notebook from the shop, a couple of Tombow brush pens, some Tombow adhesive, and pictures I have not had the chance to scrap yet. I was able to fit all of it into the Felicity Jane plastic snap closure storage envelope and was ready to go!
I created the splatters on my background with two of my Tombow brush pens. To create this lovely watercolor effect, I used a small piece of plastic packaging to add the color to, and added drops of water with my water brush pen.
I then splattered the color across my page. Yep - it's that easy!
While the splatters where drying, I stamped two sentiments from the stamp set onto white cardstock and cut a label around it. I love including the stamps like that on my pages.
For the main cluster I layered paper strips, two of the acrylic pieces and a frame from another piece of white card stock. Even though I am working in a Traveler's Notebook I am not afraid to add some dimension to my spreads, therefore I adhered the frame with foam pads and absolutely love the look.
I hope I could inspire you to take your supplies with you on your next trip or vacation! For even more inspiration, be sure to hop on over to the Tombow blog.
Have a wonderful day :)
