When I saw the acrylic 'selfie' piece in the Felicity kit during reveal day, I literally ran to my photo box and pulled out that particular picture of myself. I absolutely love it! My best friend had just done my hair with one of these curling irons that pull your hair in automatically and it looked so so good :) However, when I tried doing it myself later I totally failed! I don't know how she does it..
Anyway, back to my traveler's notebook spread. I ripped off the edge of my left hand page and tucked a branding strip and the super cool notebook paper strip from the subscriber printables behind the edge.
I then used the polkadot acetate piece to create a pocket for some hidden journaling and layered my photo on pattered paper and some florals - aren't those absolutely gorgeous? The journaling is about how I need to be (a lot) more patient with myself and stop giving up so easily. Endurance is the price tag of achievement - that quote stuck with me.
For the right side of my layout I used my favorite paper of the Felicity kit. The bold stripes get all the heart eyes! The page still looked a little bit empty and thats when the word stickers fell into my hands, they matched my page perfectly and also fit the overall theme of my spread so well.
