Hello everyone,
It is stamping week! Yay! Jana here today to show you my project focused on stamping.
Ok, first, a confession! I am a lazy user of stamps. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE stamps, I have LOTS OF stamps but I am really lazy to use them! Therefore in many cases I just go for some other embellishments.
But thanks to FJ and their most beautiful stamps I am slowly getting my stamping mojo back! And this special week was just another step for me. What a great motivation to use your stamps more, right?
As for today's layout I went for the "sisters" theme.
I decided to make my layout a bit colourful by using a stripy paper as a frame. (Tip for you: If you glue one paper on another, I always cut out a bit of the background paper to save up the beauty for some other project.) Then it was time to do some stamping. I wanted the stamps to be part of the paper so I made a patterned part at the top of my layout by repeatedly stamping three phrases from the Denise stamp set. I don't have any tool for that so, trust me, lots of patience went into this.
I treated the stamped stripe as a background paper and started adding photos and embellishments. The title is a puffy sticker, some handlettering and stamping again. I also did a few stitches on the bottom and the top of the page.
This Denise kit it is just perfect. All the cute things - puffy stickers, ribbons, flowers!
Oh and the charms! They are the cutest!
Stamping is definitely a great technique to make your layout more original and good fun. After this great project I am certain I will give it another go soon. And what about you, are you lazy to use your stamps too? Or are you a secret stampaholic :)
