Hello there, amazing crafty friends! It’s Lydia again for Mix It Monday! It’s my all-time favorite for creating my FJ goodies! They all blend so effortlessly, and it makes creating so breezy.
For this week’s Mix It I wanted to focus on this month’s papers, with a big splash of die cuts, puffy stickers, and tags from past collections.
This cute little 8.5 x 11 was all about my two boys and their love for skateboarding. I’ve always loved that we’re a family of fun sports, and I’m always documenting them with my favorite FJ products!
For this layout I wanted to do a grid layout, with a layered use of patterned paper near the top. I layered two pieces of masculine colored papers from Ginny, to match up my boys’ photos. I stitched them on and then fluffed up the bottom edges for some added flair.
I added in some fun older puffy alphas, to number my four photos. I then added in some of those fabulous puffy daisies from the June collection. They make me oh so happy!
I finished up by tucking a tag behind my lower left photo, so I could hide my journaling beneath. I attached some green ribbon, to bring some extra masculinity to the layout. All that was left was to add my title with some alphas and then splatter on some black paint.
