Hi friends, it’s Kathleen here again with another scrapbooking sketch for you.
This one is quite simple but I think it leaves a lot of room for interpretation. You can use it as is, turn it, shrink it down, or do whatever you like with it. It’s also easily adaptable to a 12“x12“ layout, if you feel more comfortable with that size. A sketch is just there to jumpstart your creativity :)
Here is my interpretation of it:
I kept this layout quite simple because, well, titling it “simple joys“ it didn’t feel right to make it overly complicated or full. But I did use a few different textures to still add some interest to my page, like the crepe paper strip from the Brooke kit, a strip of vellum on which I typed my journaling, the wood veneer piece, etc.
I hope this sketch inspires you and you give it a try, too! :) If you do, please share a link to your creation in the comments. And if you post it on Instagram, don’t forget to use the hashtag #FJsketches so we can all easily find it.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
Kathleen
