Danielle here, sharing my last layout of 2019 – ooooh. I hope you’ve all had an amazing Christmas time and that you’re looking forward to New Years and all the fun that 2020 will bring!
After using the stunning Noel kit exclusively for my December Documenting, I decided that I wanted to squeeze in a cheeky layout using the kit as well.
I have these super cute photos of my cat seeing snow for the very first time and I knew I wanted to do something fun with them. I went to work picking more muted colours from the Noel kit to keep the layout as white and clean as possible.
I fussy cut all the tiny trees off the Winter and Tree paper along with a few of the cute houses. I finally got to use some of the fab digital Cozy kit too and punch lots of snowflakes using the black and white gingham paper. I layered the snowflakes with punched vellum and stapled them together to scatter over my layout.
Once I had layered polka dot papers behind my photos and raised them up with foam pads, I went to work surrounding each photo with my embellishments. I added snowflake sequins and some white and gold paint splashes to create a sparkly snowy look.
My final touches were to create a little cluster for my date stamp and to add my cats name. I also created another small cluster to add my ‘snow cat’ title and my journaling underneath - which I just printed onto card and cut into strips. A branding strip at the top of the page and at the bottom – and I was finished.
I hope you like my layout and I’ll be back again in January with more fun things.
