So Proud Scrapbook Layout | Victoria Calvin
Hey friends! It's Victoria and I am back with a scrapbook layout featuring elements from the Reagan, Brie, and Sophie kits.
This week the creative media team was challenged to create a masculine themed layout or project. While Felicity Jane kits are pretty feminine with lots of soft colors and floral designs, there are several elements that can be used to create a masculine layout. Take a look!
This layout features a photo of my nephew who recently completed training to become an airplane mechanic with the United States Air Force. As you can imagine, I am one proud auntie! In keeping with the masculine theme and to coordinate with my nephew's dress blues, I selected papers and elements from several Felicity Jane kits with muted color stories and simple designs.
To begin, I trimmed a piece of Felicity Jane double sided card stock (light and navy blue) to 8.5x11, using the navy blue side as my base. To add subtle interest, I punched and layered several circles from the same navy blue card stock to create a unique background. Next, I created a layered photo cluster using pattern papers from the Reagan Kit (Plus and Stars), the Brie Kit (Stripes and Bows), and a Felicity Jane journaling card that reads "This Happened Today".
To the layered cluster, I added a die cut label that reads "Goals" from the Brie Die Cut pack and a tab that I created using the Dots and Linen pattern paper from the Reagan Kit.
To complete the layout, I added a title using the White Alphabet Stickers and a die cut that reads "beautiful day". Small clusters of tiny stars from the Sophie Bitty Puffy Shapes pack were added for dimension and interest.
So there you have it...a clean and simple masculine layout!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
