Hey Friends! Andrea back again with a traveler's notebook layout using the gorgeous new Willow kit for May!
I love the idea of a stencil in this month's kit! I decided to create a background but still keep it open and airy so I used a fine point pen and just traced the triangles. I but you could use a thicker marker and fill them in too!
Here is the result! I love that it's so imperfect and yet still a structured pattern!
I used a photo of myself in a spring outfit and layered a tag, card and a floral that I fussy cut from the patterned paper. Clustering is so much fun!
It ended up being a happy accident that I am using so many die cut shapes in this layout, actually. As I was pulling out flowers to use, I dropped them onto my notebook page and it dawned on me that I could do an entire side with just die cuts if I wanted - and I did!
Arranging them was fun too! I tried to use just pinks and blues (to match my photo) and placed them so it was just a strip down the middle. I loved being able to sprinkle the tiny puffy stickers at the end.
And there it is - an easy layout using so many fun things from Willow.
Until next time, friends!
Andrea
