Hello friends! Lorilei here today sharing a layout I made with the stunning Megan kit! The butterfly stamps called my name again, and who am I not to listen? One of the things I love about Felicity Jane is to be able to go over the top girly sometimes!
I started with a white background and added some mint acrylic paint for an airy "sky" backdrop. I also added some gold splatters for a bit of shine! While my background was drying, I got to work backing an umbrella cut file. I used the spots and stripes paper to add strips of color to the open spots in the umbrella.
I added two layers of foam to the back of the umbrella to pop it up off the page, as I knew I wanted to tuck items inside the umbrella. The sweet pink paper bow fit perfectly on the handle of the umbrella. I stamped, and fussy cut heaps of butterflies and also fussy cut tiny flowers from the Florals & Dots paper.
I started decorating the layout by placing my photos first. Next, I placed the butterflies in a bit of a diagonal and a small cluster by the left photo. Once I had the butterflies where I liked them, I tucked in flowers. I used foam adhesive on most of the butterflies and flowers for loads of dimension.
I stamped two sentiments from the Megan stamp set and cut them out to add to the layout. I added the spring title with the Megan Puffy Alphabets. For my last finishing touch, I stamped tiny butterflies around the layout!
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you love your Megan kit as much as I am!
