Star Wars layout | Kim Jeffress

Welcome back to the Felicity Jane blog. Today I want to share a new layout I created with the Caroline kit. I love that I can mix it up a little and use some of the elements for a more masculine feel.

I based my layout on the black and white stripe pattern paper from the Caroline kit and then used a piece of white cardstock from my stash to form a base for the rest of my layout. Next I grabbed some of the pattern papers from the Caroline kit that coordinated with my photo and used a two and half inch circle punch to cut out 9 circles. I then adhered them circles in a grid design to form a photo mat.

Next I layered on my photo and embellishments in and around the photo. I grounded the circles by adding the puffy stickers, flair, Silicone Charms and title over the top and also over the edges of some of the circles. This ensures things are not just floating on the page.

Finally I used my typewriter to add my journalling card. I loved the "dots" and the "documented" 4x6 cards from the Caroline kit so I trimmed the documented card to fit on top of the dots card and adhered them together.
