Hi, crafty friends!
Anna here today with you with a new project! This time I made something a little bit different. I was so inspired by the Hearts & Stars paper, and I decided to do a cute home decor for my little daughter's room. The colors from the Katherine kit are so happy and summery, so I chose this picture from our last summer.
I took the inner piece from two embroidery hoops in two different sizes and backed them with the Hearts & Stars paper and Berry & Dot paper. I didn't glue them concentrically, I did it the way you can see, and placed my title in the lower part of the bigger embroidery hoop.
On the right side, I die cut a bunch of stars from the papers of the kit, and created 2 shakers stars with my fuse tool. The stars go from smaller to bigger from top to bottom. Above the stars, I stacked the cute soft mint "dream" puffy sticker.
Inside the smaller embroidery hoop I placed my picture. I matted it with one of the Library cards and raised it with foam. I also layered it with the rainbow vellum frame. I put two puffy stickers, more and embellished with some die cuts.
I wanted to hang it on the wall, so I put a soft coral ribbon with a bow to make it even cuter.
And that's all for today. I hope you like this project and I can't wait to see all your projects with the gorgeous Katherine Kit!!
Have a great week!
