Stretch Your Kit - Today Layout | Anne Keller

Hi everyone, Anne here. I want to share another Henley layout with you today. While we're waiting for Brooke to arrive at our homes, I want to show you how to stretch your left-overs from the last kit.

I always have a lot of paper left, so it's easy for me to layer some of them behind my photo. But now begins the tricky part - embellishing with the reduced material.

Instead of paper I love to use the journaling cards. The one with the flower was perfect as my second paper element on the page and I used the trim packaging as my journal spot. I love the little polka dot border on the bottom.

Do you all know that the subscription comes with monthly printables? They're perfect to stretch your die cuts and make some new embellishments. You can print them classical on paper, but I also love to print them on vellum or printable foil. It creates a nice and fresh look on your layout. For this page I used the 'remember this' circle and a little banner tag. Both on foil.

I set some accents with the pompom trim and the gold foil alphas. I didn't peel of the paper from every washi shape, so some of them look a bit more than normal die cuts and some look translucent. I also used a border strip from the patterned paper. It's great to include it in a layering or glue it behind an folded edge.

Do you also have some tricks to stretch your kit?

Thank you for joining me here! Have a great day.

Anne
