Hello FJ Friends!
Today I'm showing you two pages for my FJ Coco 6 x 8 Album. I want to take advantage of the summer after the long period of lockdown here in Germany and capture beautiful moments including small trips to the surrounding area in my FJ album. The stunning June collection with the great stamp set is perfect for this!
With these two pages I want to get in the mood for a wonderful summer!
For the right sides I have drawn with a pencil squares in the size of approximately 1 3/4 x 2 1/4 inches and stitched with my sewing machine. I wanted small squares to be able to decorate them with the amazing FJ embellishments and papers.
In any case, I had to use one of the lovely Mari Layered Vellum Butterflies. I made a small folded card out of the June Ditsy Floral paper and decorated it with the ice cream chipboard piece from the Amanda collection and a small heart from the June Die Cut Shapes. In this little card I wrote myself a quote with my typewriter.
From the colorful Capri Washi Tape Rainbow Stripe I have made small hearts. I glued two strips of the washi on paper and punched out hearts with a heart punch. The colors of Capri harmonize wonderfully with June!
I decorated the other squares with a flower from the June Die Cut Shapes, the word summer is from the amazing June Puffy Shapes and the word stories is stamped with the great June stamp set.
The cactus is from the Amanda collection - I find this collection fits so perfectly with June!
I cut out matching squares from the June papers Dash Grid and Stripes as well. I punched the word "WE" into the Dash Grid paper with the Reagan Alphabet Metal Die Set.
I do think these little red dotted sunglasses from June Puffy Shapes are totally cute!!!
I decorated the June Stripes paper with a ticket and bow from the June Die Cut Shapes in matching red.
For my second page I used the mint green solid cardstock from June.
On it I glued a photo of an old vacation and decorated with the fantastic - making you want to go on vacation - words from the June stamp set.
The words I have stamped on vellum. In addition, I chose a small strip of the great Capri Washi Tape Rainbow Stripe, a little flower with two small leaves from the June Die Cut Shapes and still a few of the Capri Chipboard Asterisks in the color matching the FJ June Puffy Alphabet.
When I look at these two pages I am already in a good mood and really want to have a great relaxing eventful summer.
My - no - our plans stand and also the list of places we want to visit.
I hope I have given you a few ideas for your great summer memories.
Have fun planning and being creative!
See you soon!
Kerstin xx

Oh Kerstin, this is absolutely awesome, it’s great how you used the stamps. The idea of sewing and your way of using the embellishments in general.
