Sunshine Layout + Process Video | Sheree Forcier

Hi everyone!

Today I have a vacation themed layout to share using the Brie Kit along with one of my older faves…the Summer stamp set!

I love this photo of my husband and our boys climbing the rocks together at the beach on our Christmas vacation!  I really wanted to keep this page clean and fresh with lots of white space to help keep the focus on it.

Two strips of Brie patterned papers were adhered across the top of the page and machine stitched.  I also used an old border punch from my stash to punch a strip of white cardstock which I tucked in underneath as an extra layer.

Next I stamped the ‘vacation’ stamp from the Summer stamp set in black onto some plain white cardstock, cut it out and attached it to the page with a foam dot at the centre top of the page.

The photo was positioned at the very bottom of the page. A large tag was tucked in behind the left side along with a large layering butterfly and I added a floral Brie die cut and chipboard flair to the right of the photo.

I used another stamp from the Summer stamp set as the beginning of the journaling and continued with journaling strips.  I machine stitched along each strip and the title was adhered underneath to the top of the photo.  Another text strip along the bottom of the photo, some puffy shapes and the date stamp completed my project!

You can watch how this page came together in the video below…

I just love how Felicity Jane kits can be adapted to suit so many different themes. They’re so versatile! I hope I’ve inspired you to revisit some of your older Felicity Jane stamp sets too.

Happy scrapping friends!  I’ll see you again soon!
