Hi everyone!
Mandy with you today, and I'm sharing a traveler's notebook spread that I created using the gorgeous Caroline kit! I seriously love everything about this kit, and couldn't wait to start creating with it!
I'm continuing to use this notebook to document all of the little things that my youngest daughter and I do together during the week. It's starting to get very full, and doesn't really sit nice and flat anymore, but you know what, I love it!! I love that its getting jam packed full of memories, and little things that might otherwise be forgotten! Even the not-so-perfect days are documented... like this one, when my daughter was sick with a tummy bug. But really, how could I not scrapbook this sweet photo of her when she fell asleep in my arms that day?!!
I covered the left hand side of the spread with the mini floral patterned paper, which I matted onto the coral sketchy dot paper. Before I adhered it to the page in the notebook, I added some machine stitching around the edge to give it some extra texture.
I created some layers behind my photo using the navy grid patterned paper, as well as one of the 3x4 journaling cards, and a label from the die cut shapes pack. Then I was ready to embellish!
On the bottom left hand corner of the photo I created a little cluster that includes a die cut flower, as well as one of silicone charms, and lastly a little die cut heart. The die cut shapes in this kit are really beautiful and are printed on cardstock, so they're also nice and sturdy.
I added my title and journaling to the right hand side of the spread using a combination of the Chloe tiny dot alphabet stickers and one of the die cut words from the kit. I added some foam tape to the back of the die cut word to give it some extra dimension. Up in the top right hand corner of the page I created a little cluster using a die cut banner, a little yellow flower that I fussy cut from one of the patterned papers, and a cute heart from the silicone charms pack. I'm in love with these silicone charms!! I finished off the banner by adding a navy hexagon puffy sticker to the top.
To the bottom right hand corner of the page I added another label from the die cut pack, as well as a gorgeous flower that I fussy cut from the large floral patterned paper. Lastly I added another heart from the silicone charms pack.
Thanks so much for joining me on the blog today! I can't wait to create some more projects to share with you using this gorgeous kit!
