Hi there, FJ friends!
Shannon here with a Take 3 post for you. For Take 3, I chose 3 products from the Capri kit and made them the focus of my page. I really challenged myself to make the majority of my page using only these three items. The three items that I chose are:
1. Capri Paper Pack
2. Capri Die Cut Shapes
3. Capri Chipboard Asterisks
For the patterned paper I decided to try something that I've wanted to do for a while. I cut a bunch of strips at varying widths and made them all 10 inches long. Then, I used small scissors to rough up the edges. I arranged them down the background of my page leaving some white space in between. Finally, I used my sewing machine to sew across each paper strip. After the sewing was complete, I lifted up the edges of the paper strips just a little bit.
I focused on using the Die Cut Shapes to layer behind my photo to help it stand out from the patterned paper. When I was choosing my die cuts, I tried to stay with the more graphic pieces. This helps the flow of the page since I opted not to use the delicate floral paper in my background. 
Finally, I used the Chipboard Asterisks as accents around my page. To keep everything looking cohesive, I stuck with only 3 different colors of asterisks. I love the tone on tone look, so I tried to layer the asterisks on top of the same color of patterned paper. I really like the subtle accent that it gives to the page.
Since I opted to use words from the Capri Stamp Set as my journaling, I wanted to put them on three labels around the page. I chose labels that would match each color asterisk that I chose and tucked the labels slightly underneath to help ground them to the page.
Now that we've looked at all the details - let's look at the whole page put together.
