Tiffany here with a 12x12 layout using the gorgeous Coco kit. I had taken a few photos of myself for a separate project, but this one matched the kit so well that I knew I had to use it on a layout.
I began by ripping and layering the pattern papers from the Coco kit along with a solid cardstock from the Amanda kit, to create this layered background. I really like the ripped edges here as it gives the layout a bit more texture and dimension.
Once I had my background, I began on my photo cluster. I layered pattern paper, a bit of Felicity Jane tissue paper packaging, and a white doily behind my photo. I then used a few branding strips along with two of those color swatches--from one of the extra papers in the paper pack--to layer behind my photo cluster. I then added the die cut floral pieces to the large cluster, along with the red bow piece.
Before I glued that large cluster to my page, I used a bit of white modeling paste to add a few textured stars to the background using the Coco star stencil. I added a few of the gold foil chipboard stars to the layout, intermingling a few with the textured paste stars.
For my title, I used a mixture of the Taylor chipboard alphabet with the Essentials mini puffy alphabet to read "Tale as old as Time." I felt very much like Belle from Beauty and the Beast in this photo, so I thought the title was rather fitting.
This spread came out rather quickly once I figured out how to work it. I hope you are all having fun with your Coco kits!
