Thank You Cards | Anna Blades

Hello FJ Friends!

Welcome back to the blog. Today I’m getting out of my comfort zone because I’m not an expert card maker. Thanksgiving is coming up, but even though we don’t celebrate it here, I wanted to give you some inspiration with these thank you cards. To create them, I used some of the latest FJ kits.

My first card has a very autumnal look and it’s made with the Taylor Kit. I cut a piece from the Dots & Dashes paper, did machine stitching all around, and framed it with the dark green solid cardstock, taking advantage of the scallop border.

Then, I divided the design of the card into three sections. In the upper third, I placed a brown bow from the epoxy stickers. In the middle third, I used the gold foil chipboard alphabet to write the word “thanks”.

Finally, in the lower third, I glued a strip of the same solid green cardstock. On top of it, I placed a die cut with foam dots to give more dimension.

For my second card, I used white cardstock for my base as well. I cut a piece from the Taylor Floral Shadow & Gingham paper and framed it with black cardstock. I also did machine stitching.

I took the card that came in the Coco Kit and cut it with the Shay tag builder metal die set. Then I put it a little crooked inside one of the Coco mini envelopes. On top of the mini envelope, I glued these flowers from the Gabby Chipboard Bits. The final touch, this ribbon from last year’s Christmas kit.

Last but not least, I made a slimline card. I used the Jumbo Die Cut Alphabets from the Tory collection to spell the word “grateful” on white cardstock. I framed it with the Taylor Floral Shadow & Gingham paper and did machine stitching too. With the Tori Puffy Alphabet Stickers, I added the words “for you” on the lower left side of the card, overlapping the big letters. I think it looks so cool.

Then, I scattered some flexible epoxy dots and put some leaves and corns from the Taylor Epoxy Stickers.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope these cards give you some inspiration to send some happy mail to a loved one. See you soon with more beautiful projects with the gorgeous Felicity Jane products!
