"The Boat Trip" Pocket Page | Jana BennettJun 10, 2020
How do you like the new Katherine kit? Such a bright colour combo, right! Sweet and cheerful and summery that is what we all need these days!
This is what my desk looks like. Not much space and with a 12x12 layout I am pretty much done. But I love that I have some place to keep all my pretty supplies (and get crafty in the evenings).
In my memory keeping I went back to summer 2018 and pulled out these photos from our lovely family boat trip. We had so much fun and it was a beautiful sunshiney day therefore the colourful Katherine was a perfect match!
For this pocket page I used some journaling cards and trimmed the mint paper with white dots. I love using these neutral patterns for under my photos. As for my pocket scrapbooking, I tend to use one large photo and a few small ones. I usually try to go for different sizes to create a nice bit of variety.
The Katherine puffy alphabet is so gorgeous! I love everything puffy and the font plus the colours are just so brilliant for this kit!
I haven't done hand stitching for a while but these little stars (flowers?) were just perfect to be stitched onto my photo. You can find more stitched details here and there. Such a relaxing technique and a surefire way to add interest and a bit of texture.
This journaling card and the flowers are my favourite. I couldn't face covering them with a photo so I used my craft knife to cut it and slide the photo in. Oh and the puffy stickers! Those add great detail and dimension!
I am sure you are going to have so much (colourful) fun with this Katherine kit! Have a lovely rest of the week!
