Hello FJ Friends, Kerstin here to share a new project with you. The colors and patterns of Emma are really amazing. The reds combined with blue and yellow - fantastic! I also love that there is always a paper where you can cut out the motifs.
I love the little bits and pieces and that's what created this layout. First I usually lay out my photo and let me guide what comes into my head.
I adhered 8 x 8 inch white cardstock to the awesome red grid paper. I cut 3 different colored yarns. I tied knots at the beginning of each yarn and then glued them down with little glue dots.
As I always say .... now the fun begins - decorating, playing with the gorgeous embellishments. In the front row, I decorated several blue Emma embellishments with the Emma Word Confetti and a few cut out flowers from the Floral paper.
In the second row, I cut out the lovely saying from the Emma Journaling Cards and pasted it onto the yarn with 3D foam. A few flowers and one of these amazing Vellum Ampersand characters this line ready. Oh....I used the cute hot air balloon from the Abigail Chipboard Stickers too.
In the third row I added my photo to one of the awesome Chipboard Bookplates. I knotted this frame to my yarn and decorated it with some Die Cut Shapes. I tried to tie a knot in the same place at the end of each row - which is not so easy! - and this knot I have also fixed with glue dots.
I had fun being creative again with this fantastic summery collection. I hope I can inspire you to pick up your Felicity Jane kit and be creative too. I would love to see your project in the Felicity Jane Facebook group! I am already excited!
See you soon, Kerstin xx
