Hey, friends! I'm back with another fun layout. This time, using the gorgeous Summer kit!
I've really been trying to challenge myself creatively lately - whether it's through using colors or patterns I wouldn't normally gravitate toward, trying to mix new colors and patterns, or doing a layout that's outside of my go-to style.
With this layout, I challenged myself to use multiple patterned papers and do something a little different than my normal photo pile layering. I ended up making a fun woven detail with strips of the patterned papers. Then, I used two of the journaling cards to layer with my photo.
This is also one of the very few layouts I've ever done with the photo on the left and title on the right. I'm a creature of habit and tend to stick to what I like. Oops!
I even combined colors and elements I wouldn't normally gravitate toward, and I love the way it turned out! I don't use very many stars in my projects, and was excited to use a couple from the die cut pack!
If you're like me and tend to stick to a routine when creating, I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. I had so much fun with this layout and love the way it turned out!
