Hi, friends!  Today I want to share how you can easily alter some of the embellishments that came in the kit to add a little more pizzazz to your projects.

For this layout, I had fun fancying up the white doily by using a little gold embossing powder and the ever so lovely stamp set that I think we're all enjoying immensely... Am I right?

I just used my Versamark Watermark pad + the LOVE stamp, then poured some gold embossing powder on top, dusted off the excess, and took it to my heat gun to seal the deal!

It's as easy as that!  I'm a big fan of using doilies in my projects, but sometimes it's fun to dress them up even more to add a little extra fun to that lacy goodness.  If you don't have embossing powder, you can easily do the same thing using a regular ink pad and your stamp set.

Once I got to creating this layout, I decided to add those same touches of gold to the paper by filling in some of the white hearts...

... and then I couldn't resist embossing one of the vellum words, too!

I just think adding those gold touches really tied this layout together, and if nothing else, it was just FUN to do!  ;)
