Hi FJ fans,
I hope you are all having a great week and getting some crafty time in these autumn days. I have put together two TN layouts: one from the Gabby collection because I just can't get enough of that beautiful kit. For the second layout I used the brand new Taylor Kit. I had to use it straightaway when it came, the combination of colours and different embellishments are amazing.
For the Gabby layout I used some neutral backing paper for the left hand side. The black and white patterns are what I love about FJ so much - they are perfect for any project and so easy to combine with any other material! Under the photo I added two journaling cards to give the project some colour. I love using journaling cards for backing the photos - they are a perfect size and I don't have to cut into big paper! One of the journaling cards had this title on: Good things take time. I cut it out and used it as a title of the page (It is always a special moment when we can meet up with my friend). 
As for the cluster on the right hand side of the layout I used a photo I took on the way to town. I like using smaller photos somewhere on the page, not just the big main one.
The second layout has a very similar pattern - black and white paper with a photo on one side and blank page on the other one. 
I was tempted to use the scalloped embellishments but then I saw this colourful row of leaves and immediately I decided I had to use it as a bottom border of the photo. 
On the left hand side of the layout I had quite a few photos that I wanted to use. I went for an envelope from the Madison Kit and placed all the photos in it. Unless you turn the TN upside down they can't fall out. To add journaling I went for a die cut tag and cotton ribbon. The title is created from the Denise stamp and some hand lettering.
And this is just the beginning! I can't wait to create more and more projects with this wonderful Taylor Kit. Thank you so much for being here with me today. Have a lovely week!
