Hey friends! You may have heard me talking about using my photos as a jumping off point for what colors I use in my pages. But this time I was using a printed quote that was black and white. I love when this happens because then I have the freedom to use whatever colors I want!
I really wanted to dig back into my older kits and found the floral 3x4 card from the Zoey kit and I decided that was the color theme I was going to work with. In this 6x12 layout I am using a quote that talks about the simple things of life and being loved. When I found the LOVED banner die cut from Jane I just couldn't pass it up!
The grid design is a go-to for me when I want to use a lot of supplies but don't want to try to come up with different ways to cluster embellishments or layer papers. The clean and graphic look just fits me so well. And it goes perfectly with the quote.
I love the puzzle of adding bits and pieces that fit in little corners and letting other pieces fall off the edges. And using the Kate girl die cut worked out so well for this theme and color scheme! Mixing kits can be super fun!
I hope this gives you the push to dig through your older kits and find things that didn't come together but that complement each other just the same. Or play around with a different size or style! Just have some fun and create something new!
Have fun and I'll be back next month!
Andrea

I love the bright graphic look- normally am not a yellow fan- but it works beautifully here!
