Today card with the Kate kit

I have been loving the little girl die cuts that have been in the kits recently. I really wanted to use one this month  using the Kate kit so I thought why not make a card instead. Normally I find cards quite difficult to make but because everything was so well coordinated in the Kate kit  it to my less than 25 minutes to whip this one up.

I began by layering up the spotty paper and switched it over to the reverse side to create a second mat. I then grabbed that darling Today 3x4  journalling card from the Kate kit and added it on with pop dots to create dimension.

I then used the  Kate Stamp kit to stamp on one of the label die cuts for a subtitle to my card and added another banner die cut and wooden star also from the kit.

Finally I added in the Kate girl die cut, again adding her with pop dots for extra dimension. I have a friend who I know will appreciate this card and I cant wait to send it to her in the mail.
