Hey there, everyone! I’m so excited to be back sharing more crafty goodness using the Henley kit! This time, I made a traveler’s notebook and went with a different color scheme than my last project. One of my favorite things about FJ kits and collections is how they each contain colors that can be combined to create different color palettes!
I used the wood veneer “today” piece as my title. It’s simple and exactly what this layout needed. I paired that with my date stamp, and did a little ghost stamping for my favorite “intentional messy” look.
Behind the photo, I layered a few different colors and patterns to make the photo pop against the white page. Using one of the wash stickers, I made my own die cut by putting it on a piece of white card stock and fussy cut it out. I love the way it holds it’s shape against the photo and with the white background, the colors pop!
To finish off this layout, I clustered epoxy dots, sequins, and splatters of gold craft mist. I love adding little splats of the mist on top of my photo - I feel like it brings the whole layout together and makes each element feel perfectly in place!
As always, I had so much fun creating this layout. Working with the FJ collections brings me such joy and crafty inspiration. I’ve been chatting with some of y’all on Insta and in the FJ Facebook group, and it seems you feel the same way!
Have fun playing with the Henley collection, I’ll be back again later this month with another project!
