Use up those gorgeous flowers in the the Willow kit | Kim Jeffress

Have you been drooling over those gorgeous floral die cuts in the Willow kit this month! As soon as I opened my box I was immediately drawn to the pretty floral die cuts and the sweet Willow girl. I wanted to use all of them on a layout, but having two boys sometimes it is hard to add florals to my pages. I came up with a solution - use a photo of my son with my best friend and her daughter!  See a win win situation!

I layed down my photo and then I started arranging the die cuts above my photo. It took me several minutes to find the arrangement I liked but then I adhered them down, some with pop dots to add some definition and shadow.

I then added some stamping from the Clear Stamp set from this month and a couple of the Puffy Stickers in and around the flowers.

The gold washi was the perfect addition to help hold down my photo. I punched some small circles from one of the 3x4 cards to match the soft blue in the photo and to bring a touch of masculinity to the layout.

I added the scallop die cut to form a kind of base for the flowers to bloom from, it stopped them floating around the page.
