Hello there, amazing friends! Today I’m sharing a fun little pocket page spread, featuring the gorgeous Capri collection! I’ve been a little distant from my craft desk, but she has certainly helped to draw me back in.
For this pocket spread I went with a simple 4 pocket page, and then I knew I’d want to do something special with the FJ 3x8 page protectors. I began by arranging my photos on my pocket page, and I loved all the amazing journaling cards to choose from this month. I’m pretty sure it’s become obvious that I love journaling cards!
For the title of my pocket page, I used the lovely coral journaling card, with the perfect place for text. I added in the lovely puffy alphas, and then I typed up my journaling on some tissue paper. One of my favorite crafting tips is to use tissue paper, and then stitch it on wherever it suits you. It adds an added layer of gorgeousness to any project!
I backed my photos with some more of the very colorful papers, and then I added in some of the amazing die-cut pieces. Those florals have my heart this month, and I can’t wait to use them on everything.
To finish up this part, I popped up my photos and the die cut pieces on my journaling cards. I’ve never been one to shy away from dimension, even inside a sheet protector or pocket. 
For the 3x8 pocket, I chose to cut it in half. I then pulled out my collection of vintage buttons. I chose a few that matched the Capri color scheme and then stuffed them inside my pocket half. To close it up, I ran the open edge through my sewing machine. I then decided that I wanted it to have a little more character, so I cut some FJ essentials ribbon and stitched it right on the edge. It’s one of my very favorite details of the page!
