Hello my friends! It’s me, Elena, and today is my turn to show you my last project made with Kayla Collection!
Mini albums are my passion and of course I had to make one with this awesome kit!
I started with 3 pieces of cardboard, two 5.5”x4.5” for the cover and back cover, and one 1.5”x5.5” for the spine.
After sheathing the cover, I drilled the back cardboard and put a loose leaf ring (I’ve chosen soft pink color) to add a lot of pages, tags and journaling cards.
On the left side I put one of the amazing photo frame pocket from the kit to contain another little photo and I decorated with chipboards and die cuts and in the middle on the spine I’ve decorated with the vellum alphabet and another little chipboard.
Browsing through the pages, as you can see, I put a lot of embellishments and a little message printed on vellum, I alternated big pages (4.5”x4”) with tags and journaling cards to give more dynamism and liveliness to my mini. For example, I’ve used a clear stamp on vellum to create a world pattern ;)
I love making this kind of project because there’s not a rule to create, you can change it, add more pages and embellishments or change the order of things when you want!
I hope you like my little mini and thank you for visiting the blog!
See you next time!
Elena
