The Rebekah Kit has been so lovely to create with this month and I hope you’ve been enjoying it as much as I have! Today I have a new traveler’s notebook spread to share with you…
I started with a full sized photo of some pretty flowers for one of my pages and the woodgrain paper as the background for the other. I added a die cut word paired with the Rebekah Puffy Alphabet Stickers for the title down the right side of the photo page with a Megan puffy heart in between.
With the photo page done, I then worked on the woodgrain page. I added my journaling to a handmade tag, stitched around it and added a reinforcer piece to the hole of the tag using the Shay Tag Builder Metal Dies. Twine was tied onto the tag and I tucked the tag into a Rebekah Vellum Pocket Front.
I love the transparent look to the pocket and slid the heart journaling card into the pocket in front of the journaling tag so you could see it behind the “notes” word on the pocket front. I decorated the front of the pocket with die cuts and a rubber tiny tag. The rubber tag was attached to the pocket with a miniwide paper clip and twine. The paper clip also helps to keep the heart journaling card in place when pulling the journaling tag in and out of the pocket.
To finish off the spread, I stamped the date onto a die cut label using my FJ Roller Date Stamp then used my sewing machine to stitch across the label and around the border of the page.
You can see my process in the video below...
Thank you for joining me on the blog today! I’ll see you again soon with another project!
