Hi creative FJ friends! Kerstin here with some new inspiration for YOU! No autumn should be without a wreath of leaves! I've wanted to make one for a long time and have been waiting eagerly for autumn. Let's take a look at the layout....
I used the wonderful Essentials 6x6 Solids No. 1 Papers for my leaves. These colors reflected the color change of the leaves for me. I cut a pattern with the FJ cut file "leaf silhouettes" (no. 101022) from the Silhouette Design Store. I must confess I got out my pencil and scissors and cut the other leaves by hand. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love my scissors! ... laugh!
To make the leaves a little more vibrant, I poked holes all around with a thin needle. Then I put leaves of the same shape and color on top of each other and stapled them together with a small stapler. On my Essentials White 12 x 12 cardstock, I drew a circle and arranged my leaves on it.
I cut my photo of an autumn walk in the woods into a leaf shape and included it.
To complete my fall wreath I added bits and pieces from Emily, Mari and June. I made my title with the cute Emily Puffy Alphabet Stickers.
As a final touch I added silver and gold colored sprinkles.
I love this fall wreath and look forward to walks, jumping through piles of leaves and spending time together with my loved ones!
I'm glad you stopped by and I hope I have inspired you.
See you soon,
Kerstin xx
