Hello friends!

I’m so happy to be back on the blog to share a new layout with you! The Reagan Kit is just divine isn’t it? I really love the pinks, greys, black and white colours in this kit and couldn’t wait to play. I chose to scrap a photo of Madison that was taken the morning she left to go on her very first overnight school camp last year. She was so excited!

With so many pretty patterned papers in this kit I wanted a simple design that I could use multiple papers for. I ended up choosing five of the patterns, cut them to different widths and positioned them in a little grouping across the top section of the page. I then added a strip across the bottom of the page and added machine stitching to each piece of paper.

After positioning my photo, I added a foam word from the Mila Kit along with the Reagan alphabet to complete my title. I was excited to play with the fun ticket stamps in the Reagan stamp set! I used a light pink ink for the background and black for the outline and centre design. I love that it was so easy to create another little embellishment to use on the page…and you can make them any colour you like! I tucked my ticket under the gold clip at the top left of the photo.

To the right of the photo I created an embellishment cluster using a layered heart sticker and flower die cut from the kit, then hand stitched a striped button from the Autumn Kit. I threaded a Reagan tiny tag die cut and cute tassel from the Heidi Kit onto some twine and made a loop to hang from the button. I love how this fun element adds some movement to the page!
