Hello Felicity Jane friends,
Karlla here, and I'm so happy to share a new layout with you. For this project, I wanted to create a mix of colors and prints between the last two collections. Reese and Abigail are so incredible that they even complete themselves.
Using Reese's beautiful papers, I created a background with abstract and machine stitching giving the illusion of a patchwork. I love these details and I believe they enrich the work. You can make a hand seam too. It's beautiful with thicker lines.
Abigail's cardstock frames are my favorite collection embellishments. They are so versatile. I used it to highlight as an element and color for the project. This shade of yellow gave a highlight to all the details about the layout.
Still with the Abigail collection, I cut out some flowers from the papers and created an arrangement underneath the photo and added elements of die cut shapes and chipboard stickers.
Reese's terracotta tones left the design super harmonious. I loved all this color combination. The Reese Die Cut Shapes gave more life and finish to the layout. All these embellishments and photo, I glued with foam tape to give prominence and different details.
I loved creating this layout, and I hope it touched your heart too.
Thank you for being here with me today.
See you soon,
Xx Karlla
