Hello FJ friends!
I'm back on the blog today sharing this page created with the Hope kit. I must say that this kit is gorgeous. I love every single paper and the color palette is so beautiful.
For my layout, I started with white cardstock for the background. Then, I trimmed almost 5 inches from the Floral & Stripes paper and placed it on the top of the page. I also cut the scalloped strip from the solid color paper and placed it underneath the striped paper.
Then, I took the rest of the Floral & Stripes paper and fussy cut a bunch of these pretty flowers. I placed the flowers around my picture, raising some of them with foam dots. I don't enjoy fussy cutting a lot, but I cut these in just a few minutes.
Next, I put some of the die cut shapes among all these flowers. The one that says "good moments", in the upper left corner of the picture, the striped bow below it, and a white heart on the right side. Above the photo I also glued one of the embroidery hearts, matching the heart of the cluster at the bottom of the page.
For my title, I mixed both puffy alphabets, so it's very easy to see the words. I really like how it looks that way. And I think that the size of these alphabets is just perfect, don't you agree? Below it, I stamped a phrase from the Lindsey Stamp Set, in black.
Finally, I added a cluster in the lower left corner, using the hexagons form the die cuts, the word "together" and another embroidery heart, just to create a little bit of interest in this part of the page.
I really enjoyed putting this page together and playing with all the Hope kit goodies. I hope you like this project and I'm looking forward to seeing your creations with the May kit.
