Hey friends! Andrea here to share a TN layout using the newest collection, Reagan. I am focusing on the embellishments and how to make them work with this large photo.
I decided to keep the colors to just the rusty oranges and light pinks so that I could have a contrast between the feminine florals and the dark photo. Using the You & Me die cut was perfect for the photo of my sweet puppy and I out for a walk.
I also really wanted the shapes and die cuts to all come from the same line of sight and that is from the top of the large photo. Some of them peek out and others hug the corners and edges. I love the clean look this provides, especially when it's competing with a large or heavy element. The white space in between gives everything room to breathe!
Sometimes embellishments are even good for covering up unwanted images and in this case I'm covering up a set of cars that were just a bit distracting.
I adore how the photo and products can tell the story and words aren't even necessary. So in love with everything from the Reagan kit and it was hard not to use it all at once! A little white space, and restraint, can go a long way!
